About Brownstone Insurance
Brownstone Insurance Agency, Inc. has been insuring Boston and surrounding towns since 1982.
The Brownstone Program was established in New York and was designed specifically to insure older brownstone buildings. This specialty insurance policy filled a unique need in the property world; the ability to insure older, flat-roof, brick buildings in an urban environment.
Today, Brownstone has grown to include all types of multi-unit buildings, including: apartments, condos, townhouses, multi-families, duplexes, row-houses, and of course brownstones.
The program has also grown to include all of Massachusetts, Rhode Island, Connecticut, New Jersey and New York. The Norwell office manages MA, RI and the eastern part of CT. The New York office manages NY, NJ and the western part of CT.
About Murphy & Jordan Insurance Agency
Murphy & Jordan Insurance Agency was established to service the personal insurance needs of Brownstone clients. Whereas Brownstone insures condominiums and apartment buildings, Murphy & Jordan provides insurance for autos, unit owners, second properties and more. The agency was developed to supplement the services provided by Brownstone.
